H85.1014 Production 4 Credits

This course will enable students to create music soundtracks and sound design for short formats like television, radio, and web commercials, animated movies and podcast projects in the length of up to 30 seconds. Course participants will have access to the department’s most advanced library of sounds and samples. Students are encouraged to bring in source video material when scoring to picture. At the end of the course, the clas will produce a DVD and/or CD with final works. Guest composers will address different aspects of film scoring techniques and compositional styles.
