Recorded Music Junior, Oresti Tsonopoulos, has been awarded a 2008 API Visionary Scholarship.

In 2007, API created a scholarship program "designed to foster creativity and excellence for the pro audio industry's next generation of sound engineers." The scholarship is available to students enrolled or accepted in the sound engineering programs at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, and Tisch School of the Arts' Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music at NYU.

Each year, API will award the API Visionary Scholarship to three students in the amount of $2000 per student. More details for qualifying and application forms can be found on API's website.
