studioii_wideformat.jpg

INTERESTED IN TAKING A COURSE IN RECORDED MUSIC?

All courses are open to Recorded Music majors only, with the exception of those listed below. Pending space availability, the following classes will be filled with non-majors at the discretion of the department on a first-come, first-served basis beginning TWO weeks after the registration period begins each semester.

If there is a prerequisite for the course which you have not completed, you must provide information on your request form indicating a comparable prerequisite completed on the university or college level, or comparable knowledge, as well as your skill level and any applicable knowledge. This information is essential in helping the department evaluate whether or not you will be able to succeed in the course.

Production courses, as well as Freshmen & Sophomore level core courses are NOT available to non-majors.

Attention all Spring at Tisch Visiting Students: You do NOT need to fill out the request form below. Please submit your course requests to Sarah Ryndak (sarah.ryndak@nyu.edu), and she will complete the form for you.

HOW TO REQUEST:

  • Complete the below online request form, a separate form for each class you are interested in taking. By completing this form, you will be placed on an in-house manual wait list.
  • After TWO weeks, we will contact you in the order requests were received to notify you of whether or not there is space available in the course.
The following course information is subject to change.
